Welcome to my site!

I am a Principal Scientist in the Tobacco Control Research in the Department of Surveillance and Health Equity Science at the American Cancer Society. I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics from the Department of Economics in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University (2021). Additionally, I hold an M.A. in Economics from the University of Akron, Ohio (2014) and a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Ghana, Legon, Ghana (2012).

My broad research interests are in applied econometrics with more focus on Health and Labor Economics. I apply cutting-edge econometrics techniques to analyze the impacts of government policies, programs, interventions, and economic shocks on outcomes of interest. For example, I focus on how tobacco control policies affect tobacco-related outcomes at the American Cancer Society.
